Kingdom Killers was originally named Handcuffed and its focus was education for aspiring first responders and their mental health.  In 2021, Handcuffed was re-named to Kingdom Killers LLC and transitioned its focus on the mental health well-being of active and retired first responders and their families.  Today, we offer coaching, blog posts, a podcast and more for our heroes and their families that struggle due to traumas experienced while they are protecting and serving their communities.

Danielle Waage, a woman of exceptional strength and resilience with over a decade of invaluable experience in the field. Danielle’s journey into the world of first responders was initially shaped by her unshakable commitment to making a difference, a commitment that she upheld throughout her impressive 10-year career. Her dedication to her craft led her to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Leadership/Administration. It was only towards the end of her career that faith played a transformative role in her life, inspiring her to pursue a Doctorate program in Christian Counseling. Danielle’s presence here today is a testament to her open-hearted embrace of faith, which guided her through the latter stages of her career and continues to influence her perspective on resilience, recovery, and the human spirit.  She is a certified Trauma Life Recovery Coach and has helped hundreds of first responder and their families through traumas experienced on the job and the symptoms that effect their marriage, family and friendships.
She founded Kingdom Killers LLC when she recognized a critical gap in the support system for first responders and their families. While therapy was essential, she understood that it alone couldn’t facilitate the complete growth and transformation these individuals needed. This realization stemmed from the understanding that coaching, a distinct and complementary approach to therapy, played a unique role in helping them achieve their full potential. Unlike therapy, coaching focuses on setting and achieving specific goals, enhancing skills, and fostering personal development, offering a distinct avenue for individuals to thrive beyond traditional therapeutic methods.
Meet The Waage’s

Meet Jason and Danielle, a warm-hearted couple from Minnesota. They navigated life’s twists and turns together, overcoming the challenge of infertility to be blessed with three adorable children who brought joy and chaos into their home.

Danielle dedicated a decade of her life to a career in law enforcement, demonstrating her commitment to protecting her community. However, her path took a new direction when she retired due to the emotional strain of PTSD.

Jason, with 15 years of experience in the same field, also faced the challenges of PTSD and was forced to retire. Their family’s story is a testament to their unwavering love and their ability to overcome life’s obstacles together.

P.S.-> You pronounce their last name alike “Wah-Gee!”
